  The authors used the T31 mouse-hamster radiation hybrid panel to localize the Pxmp2 gene to chromosome 5. The highest LODs were 13.8 for D5Mit314 and 13.4 for D5Mit315. The resulting best-fit location is between D5Mit315 21 cR proximal and D5Mit314 19 cRdistal in the central region of chromosome 5.
