Notes
  • Experiment
23 AXB and BXA recombinant inbred (RI) strains were analyzed for QTLs affecting ethanol induced locomotor activation (A = A/J, B = C57BL/6J). Animals were monitored in an open field test following injection with 10% ethanol solution. Several suggestive loci mapped to mouse chromosomes 2, 4, 8, 12, 17, and 19. A significant QTL mapped to mouse Chromosome 16 at approximately 55 cM (LOD = 4.21 at D16Mit203) via composite interval mapping (CIM) where the effects of other QTLs (Es1 and Iapls3-7) were controlled.
