    Myf6 and Myf5 mapped to a series of overlapping BAC clones. Sequence analysis of BAC clone RP23-113O5 (sequence accession ID AC021642) yielded the following map of mouse chromosome 10: centromere - AA060545 - BB230421 - Ptprq - Myf6 - Myf5. Ptprq is 31.1kb proximal to Myf5.
