  Overlapping clones were used to map Ovca1 teleomeric to Hic1 on mouse Chromosome 11. Hic1 was located in the 3' portion of the clones that contained both genes. An additinal gene Ovca2 was found to reside between exons 12 and 13 of Dph2l1.
