    Markers on mouse Chromosome 1 were ordered using a set of overlapping YAC and BAC clones. The order of markers is as follows: centromere - D1Mit488 - M-11326 - D1Fcr18 - M-09944 - D1Mit10 - D1Fcr19 - D1Fcr20 - M- 10990 - D1Fcr21 - D1Fcr22 - telomere. Mlph was localized to a 600kb interval flanked by D1Fcr18 and D1Fcr22.
