• Experiment
  Using a set of subcongenic strains, Idd10 was localized to an interval between D3Mit10 and D3Mit12, and Idd18 was localized to an interval between but not including D3Nds95 and D3Mit106. Mapping of F2 progeny from a cross between 2 of the subcongenic strains excluded Csf1 as a candidate gene for both Idd10 and Idd18. Genotype analysis of subcongenic strains excluded Nras as a candidate gene for both Idd10 and Idd18. D3Nds93 is an STS for Csf1.
