  The authors mapped the Hamp, Hamp2, Usf2 and the Usf2-ps1 genes to Chromosome 7. Hamp was located downstream of Usf2. It was also downstream of Usf2-ps1 while Hamp2 was downstream of the functional Usf2 gene. The orientation and distance between the genes was not estimated.
