  The Stat5b region of a 500kb genomic clone was informative in identifying 2 new genes and 4 known genes. The region including Stat5b and the downstream genes accounted for approximately 171kb of DNA. The order provided was Stat5b - Ghdc - Hcrt - Kcnh4 - Gcn5l2 - D11Lgp2e. The authors indicated that Ghdc is 9.7kb downstream of Stat5b and D11Lgp2e was 76kb downstream of Stat5b.
