  Prpl5 was mapped to 13.93 cR from DXMit38 using a T31 radiation hybrid mapping panel. Prpl3 was previously mapped to 51 cM on mouse Chromosome 12. Authors mention the possibility that a pseudogene for Prpl3 exists on mouse Chromosome X and that the real gene may be on mouse Chromosome 12.
