    The authors used the genetic cross (NFS/N x M. spretus) x M. spretus or C58/J to map the Adcyap1 gene to distal chromosome 17. The gene order and distance was : C3 - 2.4 +/- 1.7 - Hprt-ps1 - 16.3 +/- 3.9 - Adcyap1, D17Mit123. Closest linkage was detectedto D17Mit123 with no recombinants in 91 mice indicating that, at the upper limit of the 95% confidence level, these markers within 3.2 cM.
