Notes
  • Experiment
177 polymorphic markers were screened in 18 radioisotope-induced osteosarcoma samples from (BALB/c x CBA/CA)F1 animals. Two loci mapped to mouse Chromosome 9 with high levels (78%) of allelic imbalance (AI). Oss1 (osteosarcoma suppressor 1) spans 48 cM -49 cM, and Oss2 spans 35 cM - 45 cM on mouse Chromosome 9. Oss1 is syntenic to human OSS1 on 6q14, and Oss2 is syntenic to human OSS2 on 15q21.
