  Mouse marker D2Frk1 was physically located within the 6th intron of the Kcnq2 gene and D2Frk2 is about 628 Kb centromeric od Kcnq2. Mapping experiments were informative to show that there were 4 recombinants out of 127 mice between D2Frk1&2 and D2Mit213, and D2Frk1&2 did co-segregate.
