Notes
  • Experiment
Interval mapping was performed on a (BALB/c x C57BL/6)F1 x (C3H x DBA/2)F1 cross to identify QTLs affecting the level of T cell subsets in virgin and mated animals at 8 and 18 months of age. A QTL associated with P-glycoprotein positive CD4 T cell subsetlevels, Pcd4ts3, mapped to 38 cM (D16Mit5) on mouse Chromosome 16 with statistical significance of P<0.05. Cd8ts3 is associated with P-glycoprotein positive CD4 T cell levels in 18 month old virgin mice.
