  Genotyping of 138 animals from a (C57BL/6J x NOD.B6-(D6Mit105-D6Mit135))F1 x NOD.B6-(D6Mit105-D6Mit135) backcross revealed the positions of D2Mit280 and D2Mit283 to be reversed. This finding was confirmed by Celera sequence data but may be the result of an inversion in the 129 strain of which the Celera sequence is largely based.
