    The AW046014Lps2 mutation was mapped using a (C57BL/6J-AW046014Lps2/J x C3H/HeN)F1 x C57BL/6J-AW046014Lps2/J backcross population. 59 microsatellite markers were typed in a total of 1,567 meioses. The mutation mapped to an interval on mouse Chromosome 17 flanked by D17Mit87 (33.8 cM) and D17Mit20 (34.4 cM). Seven crossovers were observed within this interval. The estimated length of this region is 216 kb.
