Notes
  • Experiment
148 (C3H/HeJArc x C3.PRI-Oas1bFlv-r)F2 mice were inforamtive in mapping Diht to mouse chromosome 5 to a region defined by D5Mit41, D5Mit26 and D5Mit158. Importantly Diht maps to a location proximal to Oas1bFlv. Parental strain C3.PRI-Oas1bFlv-r is sensitive to dompamine- and apomorphine-induced hypothermia compared to parental strain C3H/HeJArc. F2 animals homozygous for C3H/HeJArc-derived alleles at Diht display decreased sensitivity to apomorphine-induced hypothermia compared to heterozygous F2 animals or F2 animals homozygous for C3.PRI-Oas1bFlv-r-derived alleles.
