    DW/J-acd/+ mice were crossed to CAST/Ei +/+ mice (Jackson Laboratories), and the (DW/Jx CAST/Ei)F1 acd/+ progeny were intercrossed to create 145 acd/acd F2s. Mouse marker Acd was shown mapping to a region of mouse Chromosome 8 bounded proximally by D8Mit212 and distally by D8Mit12. Acd was found non recombinate with D8Mit198 and mapped to cM location 51.
