Notes
  • Experiment
The genetic interval for the mouse Myls region in chromosome 8 was bounded by proximal marker D8Mit200 and distal marker D8Mit13 which included 9-Mb of DNA . Additional mapping of the Myls interval using SNP markers in 37 informative [A/J x BXH-2]F2mice showed that Maf and Emv2 were excluded from the Myls interval. The Myls region was refined to include 2 Mb of Mouse Chromosome 8. Myls was determined to be a mutated form of Icsbp1.
