Genetic loci associated with long bone length, necropsy body weight, and organ weight were mapped in 1045 animals from a (LG/J x SM/J)F2 intercross. Animals were phenotyped between 70 and 237 days of age, with an average age at sacrifice of 144 days. Twodifferent sets of F2 mice were genotyped for 75 and 96 polymorphic markers across 19 autosomes. 97 single trait QTL were identified. After pleiotropy analysis the 97 loci coalesced into 35 pleiotropic QTLs. Cutoff for statistical significance is LPR=3.49but all pleiotropic loci listed in the reference are reported here.

On mouse Chromosome 15, Bod9 (bone length and organs 9) mapped to 30 cM near D15Mit5 (LPR=4.15). This locus is associated with necropsy body weight, liver weight, and femur, tibia, and ulna lengths. Bod9 is also associated with kidney weight in females, and humerus length in males. The confidence interval spans 30 cM - 54 cM.
