  Bcl2 was typed in 14 CXS RI strains and showed possible linkage to several chromosomes. Bcl2 strain distribution pattern for CXS strains given in reference. Linkage of Bcl2 to chromosome 1 was confirmed by typing 14 C.D2 congenic strains. Only strains C.D2-Idh1/Pep3, C.D2-Idh1/Lshr, and C.D2-Pep3 carried the DBA/2 allele of Bcl2. Congenic strain C.D2-Idh1 carried the BALB/c allele suggesting that Bcl2 is between Idh1 and Pep3.
