  Somatic cell hybrids from Chinese hamster E36 cells x peritoneal cells of NSF/N and BALB/c mice. Mouse chromosome content was determined by karyotype and isozyme analyses. The one apparent discordant hybrid line had no Mpi1 activity, but chromosome 9 might have been present in a few cells.
