    Mouse x Chinese hamster somatic cell hybrids were used. Mouse chromosome complement was determined by isozyme and karyotype analysis. Rpl30 was determined by Southern blot using a 560bp HindIII fragment from intron 3 (L30-I3) hybridized to HindIII, BamHIcut DNA.
