  Somatic cell hybrids were Chinese hamster E36 cells fused with mouse A/HeJ peritoneal macrophage, BALB/c fetal fibroblasts, BALB/c methA sarcoma BALB/c CMS4 tumor, or C3H cell line CTIIC. Mouse chromosome complement was determined by karyotype and isozyme analyses. Gsta was determined on PstI or EcoRI digested DNA on Southern blots using a 291 bp probe from the rat cDNA plasmid A24 (BglII-PstI fragment).
