  Fto was originally cloned in the mouse (J:57790). The authors show in figure 1 the organization of a contiguous gene deletion in murine Fused toes (J:20159), which has a 1.6-Mb deletion of mouse Chromosome 8 also containing Rpgrip1, Fts, and the IroquoisB cluster consisting of Irx3, 5 and 6.
