  Nineteen previously characterized mouse x somatic cell hybrids were used to assign Met to Chromosome 6. The presence of mouse Met was determined on EcoRI digested DNA on Southern blots hybridized with the human pmet1 genomic probe. Met segregated concordantly with Chromosome 6, with other chromosomes showing 10-55% discordance. No raw data provided in reference.
