  Somatic cell hybrids were from fusions of spleen cells from mouse stocks CD and CB, both of which carry multiple metacentric chromosomes, and X63-Ag8 myeloma cells. These clones were further subcloned and examined for Igh and chromosome composition. In 13 subclones from CD mice and 11 subclones from CB mice the Igh complex segregated with Chromosome 12.
