  The DNA sequence determined from mouse C4 clones lambda 17a and lambda 1 reveals an alignment of 305 bp of 3' sequence of C4 with the 5' end of bovine gene 21-OH (mouse Cyp21a1). The overlap suggests a distance of 3.5 kb between the polyadenylation site of C4 and the transcription initiation site of Cyp21a1 on Chromosome 17.
