    Overlapping genomic clones were used to map the markers listed here to mouse Chr17. Other markers listed within the contig were Ubce7-rs, Ube2q-rs, Rps27-rs, Zfp91-rs Bard1-rs and Mrps21-rs. The authors present data indicating that Prdm9 is the only candidate gene for the Hst1 phenotype within the 255 kb Hst1 genetically segregating region.
