  An association between the mutant gene fc and Chromosome 2 marker genes Sd, a^t and Sox18 was observed from chi-square analysis of 278 progeny from a coupling backcross. Recombination percentages (incomplete penterance) were determined using heterozygous (marker/+) and wild type (+/+) offspring only, yielding the following results: fc - 6.4 +/- 2.7% - Sox18, a^t -13.7 +/- 4.0% - fc, and Sd - 40.6 +/- 5.8% - fc.
