  DNA from partial t haplotypes was digested with BamHI, Southern blotted and probed for Sod2 using human probe pHMnSOD4. Chromosome inversions associated with the t complex and partial t haplotypes were used to assign Sod2 to the proximal inversion of thet complex, which extend from the proximal part of the A2 band to the A3 band of Chromosome 17.
