  Among 62(NZW/LacJ x I/LnJ)F2 mice, 3 were recombinant for Prn-p and Prn-i. Two of these were recombinants between Prn-p and agouti; none were recombinant between Il-1a and Prn-p. These data suggest that Prn-p and Prn-i are separate loci with Prn-i distal to Prn-p (maximum likelihood gives 4.8 +/- 1.3 cM separation).
