• Experiment
  Physical mapping of the Sap - Spna-1 region from distal Chromosome 1 was accomplished using genomic DNA from C3H/HeJ-gld/gld lymphocytes. DNA was digested singly and doubly with rare-cutting restriction endonucleases to produce a restriction map of 6400kb. A gene order of Apcs, (Ifi202, Ifi203, Ifi204), Spna-1 was determined and located within a 450-1000kb segment of genomic DNA. Further, genes Apcs, Ifi202, Ifi203 and Ifi204 were shown to lie within a 450kb segment and Ifi202, Ifi203 and Ifi204 within 75-150kb.
