  During the construction of congenic strain Lt.CAST/Ei-Gpt1b Gdc1d, genes Ly6 and Pmv17 were cotransferred with Gpt1 and Gpd1 from the CAST/Ei donor to the Lt/SvEi host. However, in two congenic strains (B6.CAST-Gdc1 and Lt.CAST/Ei-Gdc1) in whichonly Gdc1 was transferred from the CAST/Ei parent, Gpt1, Ly6 and Pmv17 were not cotransferred, suggesting that these three loci were closer to each other than they are to Gpd1.
