  Close linkage of Prkdc^scid and Mgrn1^md on Chromosome 16 was determined by analyzing 188 mice produced from an intercross mating. C.B-17-scid mice were crossed with md/md mice and the resulting F1 mated together. None of the offspring were homozygous for both Prkdc and Mgrn1 (expected = 12). Mgrn1 maps near the centromere of Chromosome 16.
