• Experiment
  Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of either BALB/c fetal mouse fibroblasts (FME hybrids) or BALB/c spleen cells (EBS hybrids) with E36B Chinese hamster cells. Mouse chromosomes were identified by Trypsin-Giemsa banding and with 23 isozyme markers mapping to 17 different chromosomes.
