    Analysis of 5 genomic clones selected by hybridization to DXSmh141 indicated that DXSmh141 and DXSmh15 are also part of this long complex repeat unit on the X Chromosome that spans 1 Mb and is devoid of CpG islands. The 5 clones encompass 75kb on the physical map of the repeat sequence island and feature a high concentration of L1 interspersed repeats. DXWas68 was indicated as part of the X Chromosome, but was subsequently changed to equal DXSmh141.
