Notes
  • Experiment
TaqI restriction fragment analysis from 11 t-recombinant chromosomes, obtained from Tts6tf/t12 t-haplotype females, were used to position the Cryaa on Chromosome 17. Informative recombinants were those having breakpoints between H2-K and Itpr3tf, of which there were three. An Additional 40 t-recombinants having these breakpoints were analyzed. Prior analysis indicate that H2-K is 5.9 cM from tf. Cryaa was determined by the restriction analysis to be equidistant from H-2-K and Itpr3tf, thus positioning its locus approximately 3.0 cM from these loci.
