  The chromosomal assignment for Hdc was verified by the concordant segregation of Chromosome 2 and the Hdc locus in 13 Chinese hamster x mouse somatic cell hybrids. Seven contained mouse Hdc and Chromosome 2, 6 were negative for both Hdc and Chromosome 2.
