  Congenic strains B6.CAST-Gdc1^d, LT.CAST-Gdc1^d, LT.CAST-Gdc1^d Gpt1^c and C3H.B6(90NS)/Cy-Ly6^b were typed for Sp1. All congenics except LT.CAST-Gdc1^d carried the donor strain allele for Sp1 suggesting that Sp1 maps on distal 15 near Gpd1.
