    Bc11 digest of mouse DNA were probed on Southern blots for hybridization of probe 70-38. DNA sequences homologous to the probe were found on multiple chromosomes. In strains C57BL/10ScSn, mdx and C57BL/6J hybridization was observed on Chromosome 11 (geneD11Was70). In situ hybridization to metaphase chromosomes (data not provided) confirmed the assignments to be centromeric.
