  Lmyc-2 was tentatively assigned to Chromosome 12 based on recombinant inbred strain typing analyzed with the Bayloc program of RD Blank and P D'Eustachio. This conclusion was subsequently shown to be incorrect.
• Experiment
  Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of Chinese hamster with mouse cells. Chromosomes 4, 9, and 10 all expressed concordant segregation with the probed fragment. Chromosome 11 data not presented.
