  Data from B10. and A. congenic mice and from inbred strains suggests that Dxcp2 (cortisone induced cleft palate) was associated with the H2^s haplotype. Increased susceptibility to cleft palate of B10.(2R) mice compared with that of B10.(4R) and B10.(5R)suggest the locus for Dxcp2 may be associated with the k allele in the B region of the H2 complex.
