GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
H2-K1
H2-D1
Pgk2
Notes
  • Reference
Revised gene symbol: C4 (formerly Ss).
  • Experiment
Pgk2 was determined to lie distal to the H2 complex based on evidence from congenic strains. A recombination event occurring during the production of A.TFR1 (H2anl) separated H2-K from H2-D of donor A.CA. The Pgk2b allele of A.CA segregated with the more distal H2-D locus. Further, during the production of congenic strains B6.K1 and B6.K2, the Tlab and Pgk2b alleles from the donor strain B6-H2k cosegregated and recombined with the H2b of host strain B6.Tlaa. These data locate Pgk2 outside the H2 complex on the same side (distal) as Tla.
