    Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of Hprt deficient Chinese hamster (380) cells with primary mouse fibroblasts cells heterozygous for Searle's translocation T(X;16)16H. Hybrids containing the combined reciprocal translocations XT and 16T were classified as containing a complete Chromosome 16. A normal X Chromosome was not present. In addition, 5 primary clones selected against T(X;16)16H and for an intact Chromosome 16 were positive for Sod-1 expression.
