    A 368bp PCR generated mouse specific Rps4x probe was hybridized with TaqI digested DNA from human x mouse somatic hybrid C1.8. This hybrid contained only the mouse X Chromosome and was positive for Rps4x sequences assigning this locus to the mouse X Chromosome.
