• Reference
  Linkage of Neu-1 with Map-2 and Apl was reported with 0/52 recombinants in an F2 cross and 0/51 recombinants in a backcross. Map-1 and Apl have subsequently been withdrawn and shown to be identical to Neu-1.
• Experiment
  During the construction of the H2 congenic strain B10.SM(70NS)/Sn, Neu1 was transferred with H2 from SM/J to the C57BL/10 host indicating that these loci are linked on Chromosome 17.
