Notes
  • Experiment
Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of rat Tk1 deficient cell line FT-1 with mouse cells. Hybrid cells were grown in HAT medium which selects for the expression of mouse Chromosome 11 genes Galk1 and Tk1. HindIII genomic digests from these selected hybrids showed positive hybridization for Mhys. The only mouse chromosome present in the hybrids was Chromosome 11 indicating that Myhs, Galk1 and Tk1 are located on this chromosome.
