• Experiment
  Somatic cell hybrids were from fusion of Chinese hamster cell line E36 with inbred mouse peritoneal or spleen cells. A single hybrid (BM34) typed positive for mouse Chromosome 1 and negative for Rpr1. This hybrid contained only a distal Chromosome 1 withPep3 absent and Bxv1 present suggesting that Rpr1 maps proximal to Bxv1.
