• Experiment
  Igh recombinant inbred strains, constructed by crossing mice with different allotypes and selecting for recombinants in the Igh region, were used to localize Fcr. Using 12 AXC strains recombinant beween Igh-C and Igh-V and 7 CXAXCB strains recombinant between Serpina1 and Igh-C, Fcr linkage to Chromosome 12 was confirmed. Combining the typings for Fcr and Igh-C reported here with previous typings of these recombinant chromosomes the authors determined the Chromosome 12 gene order to be Fcr - Lm1 - Serpina1 - Tpre- Tsu - Tind - Igh-C - Igh-V.
