    100 mice from a (B6CBARI/Pas x SPE/Pas)F1 x B6CBARI/Pas backcross were used to map Zfx on the X Chromosome. The following results were reported. Recombination of Zfx with Otc was 27.2% (SD 4.6, N = 92); with DXPas7 was 25.7% (SD 5.1, N = 74); with Syn1 was 26.3% (SD 4.5, N = 95); with DXPas3 was 18.4% (SD 5.5, N = 49); with DXPas4 was 19.6% (SD 5.6, N = 51); with DXPas5 was 20.9% (SD 4.3, N = 91); with Hprt was 15.5% (SD 3.7, N = 97); with DXHXS144E was 11.5% (SD 4.1, N = 61); with Slc10a3 was 9.3% (SD 3.0, N = 97); with DXPas21 was 8.3% (SD 3.0, N = 84); with Zfp275 was 12.5% (SD 4.4, N = 57); with Dmd was 6.5% (SD 2.6, N = 92) and with Dmd using probe MDXS120 was 3.5% (SD 2.0, N = 87); with Ar was 0% (N = 81); with Ta was 3.9% (SD 2.2, N = 79); with Pgk1 was 7.6% (SD 2.8, N = 92); with DXPas2 was 6.6% (SD 3.2, N = 61); with DXPas20 was 21.9% (SD 4.2, N = 96); with Plp1 was 20.5% (SD 4.4, N = 83); with DXPas1 was 31.2% (SD 4.8, N = 93) and 31.1% (SD 5.4, N = 74).
